One fine weekend.
“Dear, can I ask you something?” - Lord of Mi Casa
“Hmm…No. Can’t you see I’m busy feeding my vampire here?”
“Actually I wanted to ask you this since the 1st day we moved in to this house, but you always 'busy' kan..”
“Eleh dramanya…apa cepat”
“Dear sini jap…”
“Alaa..you always kacau when I’m busy with my computer kan…”
“Come here la sekejap...”
......I dragged myself to the front door.
“Hmm pak encik nak apa?”
“Dear…can you explain to me this?”
“What? What’s wrong with my shoes? Oooo ok…got it.I think it’s about time to buy another cabinet for my….no OUR shoes right?”
“No..look carefully. Focus dear..”
“Apa? Ohh yer la....this one dah worn out..kena beli baru la”
“You memang nak kena luku ni. Look here.Can you explain to me, why do you need like 7,8 pairs of the same black shoes?”
“What? What’s wrong with that?”
“It's all practically look the same to me. Cuba explain sikit kat I”
“Encik Zainor, look carefully, mana ada sama. This is stiletto heel use for glam night, err could be a weapon jugak tau. Tajam ni..remember Fazura punya kes gaduh tu, she used….”
“Dear…focus”
“Oh ok, ok…eh wait. You ask for explanation kan..I explain with example la ni”
“Ok whatever, continue please....”
“Eleh emosi pulak encik ni. Ok this is my running shoe, obviously for gym. This one with low heel is ‘Mary-Jane’ for groceries shopping, so tak sakit kaki jalan-jalan. Hmm.. this one is 'mules' or backless shoe, my favourite and it is for work, senang nak pakai just slip jer. This one is 'pump' also for work, it makes my fat feet look slimmer. And this open-toe with strap is sandal; can be use either for casual workday and for jalan-jalan. So you tell me, mana ada sama?”
“Oh ok..but why you need like 2, 3 different colours for the same type of shoes..like this 'mules'...this one dalam box ni, macam dah lama beli tapi tak pernah pakai jer?”
“Encik Zainorr…...it’s a common Law of Matching Clothes la. Takkan pakai baju biru kasut merah. Those in boxes tu I bought during sale, still can't find a matching cloth to wear with...sooner or later I pakai la”
“But it’s just a shoe. It doesn’t matter what colour. You wear it on your feet. Paling bawah. Most of the time pun kat bawah meja right. No one notice it. And you can only wear a pair at one time. So why you need more than one? I really don’t undertand. Lagi susah nak faham than Algebra la hmm..women...women”
“Hmm.... you know what dear. It’s ok if you could never understand me and my shoes. Your job is just to love me for me. Don't worry too much, just love me and please for God' sake just leave that shoe matter alone to me, ok dear...."
Men will never understand us and our shoes like we don't understand why men love to watch that same old football game again and again.

kakakakakaka.... i totally AGREE with you.... guys would never understand why... shoes shopping is ma all time favorite... my bros always complain bout my shoes... but now they're immune dii... =)

Yeah Tess, they will never understand. The funny part is my husband always make a hoo haa every time I bought a new shoe or cloth for myself (which never cost more than rm50 each), but when it comes to his own unnecessary gadget ie new lavish phone or car accessories (which never cost less than RM500) he only said “it’s my hardwork earn money la” (like I ask his money to buy my personal stuff..ceh!)...
